EGS (TBM, SU, Diva Cup) PH of EW was 9-9.3. Kept temp consistent in incubator. Did not look at sort. Used mesh to get ew to stay afloat. Kept Diva in for 6-12 hours depending on the attempt. Did not check the ph in it. From previous experience I knew that the ph in the diva did not change much due to the lime. When I removed the diva my ph was between 5-5.5. It usually started at 4.5-5. |

Hi- I'm great. I'm actually due June 27th! Hard to believe, but I didn't do EGS the month I got pregnant. I had a 4 day cut-off ( because I was heading out of town for a wedding) and with 5 months of not getting pregnant I thought it was next to impossible. The goods: I did make sure pH was low and day of attempt added lime to Diva after 3 hours to 4.2. At time of attempt there was no EW just creamy. Kept up the diet and supplements. Sort of a weak attempt considering how hard core all my other ones were. I wish it had been with EGS, but I'm really excited to be pregnant after the long haul and I like the time of year and all that stuff. How are you feeling? I'm just 6 weeks so don't feel pregnant yet...

Annika- That is wonderful!!!! Congratulations!!!!!! What matters is not what you did but how you feel about it. I did EGS but it was not very extreme and I did very little in the diet and hormone department. As long as you have no regrets, that is what matters.
I am feeling really good considering the last three times I was pregnant my first trimester was aweful. I think it has a lot to do with how different my perspective is this time around..I am just so grateful for any symptoms because it means I am still pregnant. I have gained a good five pounds already so I definetly see a difference there. I am also tired, irritable and sick to my stomach most days, but I am not complaining.
I have never been pregnant this time of year. My last three pregnancies all started in march. I love this time of year too. It feels so different to be pregnant this time. And I LOVE Oct-Dec.
Are you going to find out the sex of your baby? What about the nub theory, have you looked at the ultra-sound prediction forum?

I read your attempt and I have to say i thought it looked great! I like your perspective on it though. Now, I don't know what the nub theory is, what is it?. I just thought it was another expression for parts...We aren't going to find out the sex, but of course I'd love to know!
I feel great so far, hit 6 weeks today so I think the next two weeks will be really telling. Have to say I feel like I wake up a little crabby. Trying not to. That and boobs are a little sore. That sick to the stomach feeling is yucky, sorry to hear you have that. I have to agree, it's a great time to be pregnant and we get to just chill out with it so dark out so early and all that. The year coming to a close. It's great.

Not yet...but I will be getting an U/S done on Tuesday and I hope the baby shows me a good nub. I will post on here if I get one and I will tell you to check it out.
