My apologies for the double post, but just wanted to let the December Mommies know that I had our baby on the week end - on Saturday December 6th. We had a great home birth, with Charlotte Helena arriving at 7 pm on the nose, 7 lbs, 2 oz, 20.5 inches. She is wonderful and calm, and our family is quite taken with her. She has developed jaundice, and while common in newborns, there is some concern that she developed it so soon. Hopefully it will subside in the next few days, and in the meantime, it seems to be making her especially sleepy - good for getting things done and being with the boys, not so good for trying to feed!
I'm off to nap - you know what they say - sleep while the baby sleeps! All the best to all the December mommies - wishing you all smooth deliveries and recoveries!
