So here is my nursery. I put it off for a long time because I was hoping we would move, but now we definitely aren't before Isabelle arrives. I plan on keeping her in our room in a basinette for the first few months though, but still need to store her clothes and things in the nursery. I don't think I'll be decorating the nursery with paint or border or anything permanent, since if we do stay in this house the nursery will become the guest room and the guest room will become DD3 and Isabelle's room once Isabelle is about a year old or so.
This is where the changing table and window is. If you look closely you'll notice there's a lot of finish work to be done around the window and closet and door from the house remodel. And also that Isabelle's big sisters decided they wanted to color on some of the walls and furniture.
Moving counter-clockwise is the crib. It really is a small room, especially with the gabled ceilings.
Next is the arm chair and the tiny closet with no door on it. Inside the closet is the little dresser we picked up a yard sale for a couple bucks that really needs to be painted or something.

Then I tried to take a close up of the crib bedding, which isn't too exciting. Just what I had leftover from DD3.

And the place where I'm standing to take the pictures from is just pilled and filled with boxes and stuff that needs to be moved out, mostly just papers and misc. stuff I have no idea what to do with. But I have no idea what I will put there when it's all moved. Maybe the chair will go there and the crib will be moved over? And then I'll have room for a bouncy seat or something...as if I'd really be spending that much time in there, I would if it was on the main level and not upstairs. Maybe sometime I'll get creative and find some cute things to hang on the walls, and maybe put up some cute curtains if my DH ever finishes around the window.
