I've had 3 girls... with my 1st, I had a lot of boob soreness (it was one of my 1st preg signs).  I breastfed my babies so I think my boobs have "chilled out." With my subsequent pregnancies & this pregnancy (that I swayed for a boy), I've had NO boob soreness AT ALL until recently.  The past few days, I've had AWFUL boob soreness (can't go without a bra even at night)... I'm 14 weeks... do you think it's something to do with carrying a boy & he's producing testosterone now that's causing my boob soreness??

Anybody else notice this when carrying the boys as opposed to the girls?

I had the same amount of soreness (from before BFP to about 20 weeks) with all 3 (2 boys and 1 girl).  The only difference is that with my boys, my breasts started leaking around 25 weeks.  This time (girl) I'm almost due and still not leaking!  It's odd.

With my boys, all of them I had some boob pain, starting around 9w.

With this one, I feel like my milk has come in and I am really engorged (started around 11w).

My friend had 3 girls then a boy.

She had NO pain with her girls, and painful boobs with her boy. I guess it just depends. Hope you get your boy! 

Well I had sore boobs with both but I have to say that it was worse this pregnancy.  By worse I mean that it started sooner, lasted longer, and was more intense.  I assumed it was because it hadnt been that long since my milk had dried up from DD.  The first sign I had of being pregnant was heavy, tingly boobs (of course, being prego was the last thing on my mind so I didnt think too much of it).  I've ALWAYS had to sleep with my bra on and could never understand how someone could sleep without one.  When I got pregnant though I started taking my bra off at night because my boobs just felt.. "weird"- DH had been trying to get me to sleep without a bra for four years so he was lovin it, haha.  This was shortly before the pain started.  Anyway, the soreness happened right around the time AF was due, then my period never came and that is what made me put two and two together

 I have had sore boobs with all of mine, but with the boys it started around the 12th week with out fail, this time, im expecting a girl, it has only started the past week or 2 and isnt half as bad as with the boys, i cried if any one would touch me there while carrying them!

Interesting... Jesse, you've been the closest case to me as long as I end up having a boy.  I think it started in the 12-ish to 13-ish week range. Soooooo weird b/c I didn't have breast soreness when I carried my 2nd & 3rd children until towards the end and they were both girls.
