What an incredible story! How amazing that you were talking about faith and how God protects as the bank was being robbed behind your back! That gave me chills. I'm so glad you are all right. And I'm also really happy to see that you are back working on your adoption!

    Re: READ THIS!!!

yes it's quite crazy indeed!!  i wasn't going to say anything about the adoption because #1-  i just posted like last month i wasn't doing it anymore and #2- i feel so skeptical still, like it can all fall apart and don't want to continue posting all my up's & downs!!!  but i had to share the full extent of the story, even the part about being there to notarize adoption docs and how i was talking about God's protection as the bank got robbed behind my back!!! Surprise

anyways i know i must seem like a looney after all my posts that are all over the place about adoption, lol, so i decided to just keep my mouth shut until i have something more to post about!!  i am taking it very cautiously, very slowly and i am just having the mindset of we will see how it goes...  this is my LAST attempt (so i say, lol).  anyways i'm sure i'll be taking a LONG break if this also falls apart.  i fear if i am going out of God's will, it will not work out but i thought i have to just give this 1 more try...  anyways i think my posts reflect the true ups & downs of adoption anyways Happy Wink  i really was in the mindset to just STOP for about a month.

but all i will say about my adoption is that i am done with everything for the dossier, i only need the update which is suppose to come next week, then i will make a drive to Austin FINALLY to apostille and send it off, meanwhile i hope to stop by and check in on Tracy & Ashlyn  (that same day) Happy Wink  then i will wait some more, which i am very good at now Stick out tongue

How scary Alice :( !  I hope that you DO visit. I'm anxious to see what you think of Ashlyn, now that she's been home for 7 months. She finally hit the 20 pound mark last week. She's still very tiny, but she looks much healthier :).

Alice, holy cow, so glad you are all right and how scary!

Adoption is NOT for the faint of heart. It is so easy to give up, believe me, I almost did many times. I remember times I sat on the floor crying saying I could not do it anymore!! You my dear, will succeed because you have the guts and the will. It is hard but this is your journey!

As my husband would say to me....how bad do you want it?

Keep the faith, you will have your daughter, I just know it!!! :) That pretty room has to be filled by an amazing little girl.

Sig. Mom to 7 amazing kids, hoping to adopt #8 very soon!!
