Its ironic how if someone posts a response from their RE or something they read on the internet on this board, everyone questions it and wants to know what Dr. Potter thinks, but if Dr.Potter doesn't answer a question then we're advised to go ask our RE and look on the internet! 

i think people on this board tend to always want a second opinion.  the more resources we have the better.  i always encourage everyone to trust the re that they are using.  after all, they chose that doc for a reason.  however, if dr.p has given a different perspective, it is helpful.  you can then take that perspective to your doc for discussion.

that is not what this section is about. at least it has never seemed that way to me.  maureen can correct me if im wrong.  this section, imo, is about dr.p offering FREE help when he has the time in his busy schedule.  if he only has time to answer 3 questions, perhaps he answers the 3 that most likely pertain to the most people.  i dont know his reasons for answering some and not others.

i do know that i get busy and dont have time to get to all the pms and questions in a timely manner. i am one person with 3 kids, a job, school, a life.  add to that holidays and personal situations, and its amazing i get anything done. lol.  it doesnt mean i dont care or mean to alienate someone. it just means one person cant do everything.  im sure its the same for dr.p. 

we are very lucky to have dr.p even if he answers one question a month.  i think most of us are very grateful for him giving of his precious spare time when he can.

I'm sorry you didn't get an answer to your question, I realize it is very frustrating to hope for a response and not get one.  I wish I knew why Dr. P has not answered, but I'm sure it's nothing personal against you.

There seems to be a misperception that Dr. Potter is somehow contractually obligated to answer questions in this forum.   That is not the case at all.  Dr. P. volunteers to answer questions here, and this is a free forum.
