I wonder if anyone wouldl like a crafts area?  Like, things to do with the kids and also the things we moms make at home (for those who want to share).  With this pregnancy, I've been in such a crafty mood, and I'm always looking for new things to do.

What a great idea!  I am just about to buy my first sewing machine and I am VERY excited!!  I think an area like this would be a great place to post pics of ideas and things we have made....  I would love to see what other people can do!!!

I am about to attempt to make a car seat cover this weekend!  A baby sling too, but I think that will be super easy.  Just waiting on the sling rings to come in.  I don't know what's wrong with me....I've never been a crafy person!

Let me know how that CarSeat cover goes.... do you have a pattern or are you just going to pin it inside out then sew it? I've been wanting to make one and they are expensive to have custom made. Maybe we could trade services or something.. I paint wall hangings and such..

I am going to wing it.  I did find a pattern on ebay, but I'm going to see what my MIL and I can come up with first.   She bought me a sewing machine and has to teach me to use it.  I have the thought in my head and she can picture it too so I think we can do it.  CANNOT be that hard.  I found a lady down the street that makes them, and she originally said $35, but after I pay her extra for a fabric she already has and buy another fabric to go with it, I'll be in $45-50.  I know I can make my own for $20. 

I didn't click on your link, I will......and I'll let you know how it goes.  I just have to decide on the fabric first!  I'm soooo indecisive (my baby doesn't even have a name yet).
