CGH instead of FISH screening, any info

I am after any info about CGH. I will be doing IVF/PGD in June at Sydney IVF. Instead of using FISH, they are now using CGH which can screen all chromosomes not just a few, (something like that,I dont pretend to know what it's all about)

Anyway instead of a fresh transfer they have to freeze the embryo, because it can take longer than the normal screening.

Does anyone know how long it takes. We were planning on staying in Sydney for 10 days from ER to ET, but it looks like this may be a longer process.

 I thought you could not use CGH for gender.  

You might want to PM "wearefamily" she just had a round of IVF with the exact method you are talking about.  I know she is cycling again & will then do a FET.  I have heard of SIVF doing the CGH for Gender but I don't think it is done in the US.

MT - I believe some clinics in the US will tell you they can use CGH for gender but it is not accurate and if the creaters (SIRM) are not using it for gender then I wouldn't trust any clinic that says they can here in the US.
