Hi! Just checking in, how is everyone doing with the process? I finally got my mess figured out and am officially approved.Yay!! I quickly got our bloods done and birth certificates faxed. Then they called and said they did the wrong Hep b test on my dh so I had to call the lab and luckily they could still draw blood from the same vial. So the next step is the $100 consult. Has anyone done this yet? Kerribug, I know you are cycling soon! How are you doing? Are you doing full injectables, if so what kind? This is what I am on the fence about currently, what would be the best meds to do. When are the other iui ladies cycling? I am hoping Sept., Oct.

 I would love to know too! I am one step behind you. I have had my labs done, initial phone consult and ready to mail back all of info. I am in the process of going to a local place( im in FL) for my and H fertility testing.I am wondering if others have done this too? I read one postwhereshe didn't have any testing, but I am not sure what her circumstances were.

I keep reading about  other places-mini-ivf and natural IVF and it just gets me more confused. ahhh I cant wait until I am further along in this process.

Well we are approved and I have my $100 consult today March 11 2010 @ 3pm and then the doctor consult on March 17 2010 @ 3pm. I am doing full injectables, But dont know which ones yet that will be on the 17th then I will find. I just found out today that we were approved because the med review needed more info about my sons who were premature. and they needed that info before we could get the okay. I will updated ASAP once we know more. GOOD LUCK Ladies and I am praying that everyone get their BFPs and Get their desire gender

Just a question ladies - I thought the MS consult was $300, but you all just payed $100?  Is that right?  Mine is scheduled for Monday (with Nachet at HRC) so I guess I'll find out for sure then.

Just sent in my labs, birth certificate and SA.  I hope we are approved, too. 

At givf SA is not mandatory for approval but reconmended.

Actually it is now mandatory because of the new consent forms.

1. Packet #1 (18 pages)
2. Birth Certificates of your 3 boys.
3. Lab results stating you and your husband are HIV-1, Hepatitis B Surface Antigen, and Hepatitis C Antibody negative.

Kerri, I did all the necessary things for approval that you have listed. When I talked to Nancy she said the SA ( semen analysis) was not needed for approval.

I think its because you not close to your cycle yet. Which I am cycling in April

 Same here. Nancy from GIVF said they just need the blood work. Semen analysis is not necessary for approval. It could be done later.

they received my blood work and my son's birth certificates.  my husband had his labs done on saturday, so i'm hoping they were sent over there today.
