Do you think that you'll be putting any boy clothes on your little girls, like jammies, jeans, overalls? I know it's easier to dress a girl in some boy clothes, than the other way around. Just wondering if I should save some jammies at least. I am going through some clothes in my boys dressers to sell, and thought, geez, who cares if her jammies have dinasaurs on them, LOL! Anyone done this before?

I do. DS3s clothes are in great shape still, so why waste them?

When i had my 1st baby (a girl) i could not afford to buy baby clothes and the only things i could find at the thrift store were blue pj's. So my darling daughter's photo's as a baby are here in blue pj's. Now that i am having another girl and i can afford PINK...i'm going all out! But i would suggest saving a few, b/c it seemed i never had enough clothes for baby when they spit up or when a diaper leaked. You can always use them for bed time and not one will know when you are out in public:)

I saved some of our favorite clothes from the boys and put them on A sometimes. It is actually really special for R and J to see her in their clothes. I don't know if your boys are old enough to care, but my boys really get excited about it. I usually dress her like a girl when we go out, but it's fun to bring out my old favorites and to see how much she looks like her brothers when she isn't wearing pink!

yuppers I put emily in overalls and she has a pair of blue jammies... I even bought a boys denim hat with a firetruck on it (my father is a firefighter so he thinks its cute when she wears it around him) and I have a little police shirt for her cause my husband is an officer.. As long as I put bows in her hair I don't think it matters I can dress it up as I want... Oh she also has a Red Sox shirt and a Patriots outfit she wears.. I try and pair those up with pink pants and once again bows in her hair

Oh my gosh...yeah!
Eleanor had a very fetching police car vest on only yesterday. It was from a really expensive set, and both boys had worn it, but it washed so well it looks brand new....no chance of that not being used again! (a lot of the stuff I had for the boys was passed on to my friend, and is now back...and some of it really does look like it's done 3 boys...)
All my children sleep in sleeping bags, the newborn ones are neutral.....the rest are blue checks, blue with spaceships on, and jungle ones.....guess which lucky little girl is going to be using them.
I read somewhere that until after the Victorian times blue was the colour for little girls and pink for boys....so I shall tell Eleanor if she sees any pictures of herself in the boys gear that I was going through a 'Victorian fashion stage'

I use this thick yellow sleeper that has giraffes on it when I need to dress Olivia warmly. I think there isn't anything wrong with it and it's still a very cute little item.

Oh I so would and will. Granted all my boy stuff is in the storage pod right now, but once we move into our house and get all our stuff back.. I'm so busting out all the sports jammies and outfits. We are a pretty athletic family and almost everything I got for Carter was sports... and there is NO girl sports stuff, so I'm thinking of just sewing some pink ribbon around it, and of course a bow!! Glad I'm not crazy.

Good Idea.....sewing any colour ribbon to match will make it more feminine.

Sure, I like denim overalls, jeans, and boys white tees. They are good for playclothes and bed clothes. Absolutely!

I will at least for pajamas, sweaters anything I can. I used a lot red for my son as he is very cute in it ( brunette) so I will use the same for my DD as well.
