smiley icon scroll down

I can not add icon or any smiley to my posts and signature. I choose one of icon from the options, but can t see in my post. And i can t use the scroll down key effectivly.
I see this message under the signature edit. "How to put boy and girl icons in your signature: Click the "smiley" button on the editor above." But i can t see any editor which has smiley button. There is no editor. Please help!

Your signature (siggie) appears at the end of each post you make. You can add little boy and girl icons to your siggie by typing these codes in your signature in your profile:
 for boy, and  for girl

What are the codes? I just see a boy and a girl icon. When you type the code it turns to icon. So i can t see the codes.

The code is brackets [ ] around either XX or XY. Also DS, DD, etc. If you want to see the acceptable BBS code, click on the smiley face in the toolbar of a reply (see photo) and hover your cursor over an image. The code, brackets included, will show in the bottom bar of the window. (My cursor isn't visible cos I moved it to do a screencap, but I had ithovering over the blue bear, and the code 'DS' is visible in the grey address bar.)

Thank you Bühlertalerin. Guess i made the siggy icon. But for post reply, i don t see any toolbar as above in your message. I think this is some kind of setting issue. I did change message settings to "enhanced" but didn t work..

Well if you don't see the toolbar, you can also click the options tab, right next to compose, above the type field. It has all the icons as well, selectable with radio buttons.

Yes, i see that options tab and do click that and select one of the smiley. But they don t appear in my message! :) Anyway, thanks for your help. Guess i can live with this ::)

What browser are you using? Sometimes forums act retarded with certain browsers. Maybe try Firefox?
