Please take a moment to choose a UNIQUE username!!!
Your forum experience will be much better if choose a memorable and distinctive username that identifies you instead of getting lost in the crowd. To be unique, PLEASE:
- Do not use mom, mum, or mother in your username. We already have so many of these that these words are no longer allowed as part of new usernames.
- Do not use your username to describe that you want a boy or a girl. Example: wishingforblue. Again, there are so many similar names like this it is hard to tell people apart.
- Do not use your username to describe the number and genders of your children. Example: Got3boys.
These things are all important, but you can put them in your signature instead of part of your username!
Make your username readable.
You may use up to 64 characters, including spaces and most punctuation.
A long name can be hard to read, so separate words with spaces or dashes, or use some capital letters (but don't use all caps).
Protect your privacy.
- Do not use your real last name in your username!
- Do not use your email address as your username.
- Do not use the same username you use on another forum, if you do not want to be recognized by members of that forum.
Finally -- check your spelling!
